SAN FRANCISCO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, CA – This spring SFO Travelers, airline crews and staff will be treated to a truly unique dining experience at Terminal 3: the debut location of Elevate Gourmet Brands’ newest concession QSR: San Francisco Mac + Cheese Kitchen.

This will be the first gourmet fast-casual mac and cheese concept in a major West Coast airport and will offer a menu for all day parts, catering to passengers in a hurry, families and those who want to sit and enjoy the view through the leases’ wall-to-wall windows. Additionally, this location offers a bar showcasing local Bay Area beer and wine.

 

Menu highlights include The Signature Crab Mac with artisan noodles, white cheese blend topped with local Dungeness crab and microgreens, and The Gilroy Garlic Mac topped with Pecorino Romano and Gilroy’s famous roasted garlic. Mac and cheese dishes can be customized with a broad selection of toppings, and sides like Signature Cord Bread, and Spicy Broiled Vegetables will be available, as will healthy, gluten-free and non-GMO options, and rustic salads.

San Francisco Mac + Cheese Kitchen will boast a fun Li’l Mac Kids’ Menu to include Mac + Cheese Tots and Eat Your Veggies Mac.

Elevate Gourmet Brands’ concepts are famous for their pastry displays and this location will be no different, featuring a full selection of sweet and savory pastries. A unique breakfast menu will offer customizable Scrambles and a selection of Breakfast Brioches.

SAN FRANCISCO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, CA – Elevate Gourmet Brands and Joint Venture Partner Aimhigh ESG have been awarded two new lease locations in SFO’s Terminal 3.

EGB and Aimhigh have been partners for over 3 years, running the successful Green Beans Coffee in Terminal 1.

This will be the third Green Beans Coffee at SFO and the second to open in 2019, and the debut of the San Francisco Mac + Cheese Kitchen concession concept.

SAN RAFAEL, CA – Elevate Gourmet Brands has named Rebecca Willis as its Executive Chef. Working from their Bay Area headquarters, Rebecca will oversee menu development for Elevate Gourmet Brands’ growing family of concession concepts, including the first two Whisk & Bowl locations due to open at DFW in the spring.

Rebecca brings a love for cooking, menu creation and Pâtisserie, and a lifetime of experience to the Elevate Gourmet Brands team. Raised on Maryland’s eastern shore, Rebecca Willis studied philosophy at Roanoke College in Virginia and then made her way to Le Cordon Bleu in London to study the art of patisserie. After working as a pastry chef at Gramercy Tavern in NYC and Restaurant Eve in Alexandria, VA, she moved across the country to the Bay Area. Since relocating she has worked at Michelin-rated La Toque and Morimoto, both in Napa, and has worked as a private chef.

“Rebecca will be developing exciting new menu offerings for Green Beans Coffee customers, including some delicious fresh-baked additions,” said President Jon Araghi. “When we open the first two Whisk & Bowl concepts at DFW Airport this spring she’ll also be building out the pastry menu and working with Chef George on expanding his original menu there.”

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Elevate Gourmet Brands’ Green Beans Coffee continues its more than 20 year commitment to America’s fighting men and women this year, becoming the Official Coffee of the 2018 Warrior Games held this week at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO.

Organized by the Department of Defense, the Warrior Games is a multi-sport event for wounded, injured or ill service personnel and veterans. In addition to all branches of the US Military, Australia, the United Kingdom and Canada are also represented. Green Beans Coffee is partnering with Fischer House in the Hospitality Tent and will have a pop-up café providing free coffee, cold brew, smoothies and frappés and pastries to athletes and their families throughout the games.

“We’re proud to support the Troops when they’re downrange on their deployments and we’re proud to support them here at the games,” said CEO and Co-Founder of Green Beans Coffee, Jason Araghi.

Dallas/Fort Worth Airport, TX – Elevate Gourmet Brands and joint venture partner E&K Retail Airport Concessions, LLC have been awarded a contract to build and operate two new Whisk & Bowl locations at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. These Terminal A & C locations will bring European-style pastries, fresh-baked treats, breakfast and a full espresso bar to travelers.

“We thank DFW for the opportunity to work with them and launch the Whisk & Bowl brand here in Texas. We’re very proud to be awarded these leases with our first proposal of the Whisk & Bowl concept,” said Chief Operating Office Brian Laliberte.

Whisk & Bowl’s menu was developed by Elevate Gourmet Brands’ own Chef George Kennedy- also Director of Non-Traditional Development for the company. Chef George drew from more than 20 years of culinary experience to create the sweet and savory baked goods, artisan treats and even some Texas-inspired menu surprises DFW travelers will be able to enjoy when Terminal A & C Whisk & Bowl locations open in early 2019.

Elevate Gourmet Brands’ premier coffee concept, Green Beans Coffee, had fresh-baked treats, balloons and VIPs on-hand to celebrate the Grand Opening of its second on-base cafe at Naval Air Station Pensacola across from the Officers’ Club at Bldg 4141 123 Fred Bauer Street. A logo cake, ribbon-cutting ceremony with the staff and base officials, and base newspaper coverage were highlights of the Friday morning event.

Following the success of Green Beans Coffee’s first NAS-Pensacola Café in the food court at the Navy Exchange Bldg in Aviation Plaza, the second location boasts a covered outdoor seating area with heaters and a completely redesigned, on-trend interior.

“Green Beans Coffee has a long commitment – more than 20 years now – of serving American Troops wherever they go. Whether it be in Afghanistan, Iraq or on-post stateside, we believe these Service Members have the hardest job around.
