In May 2022, EGB’s Chief Operating Officer since 2008, Brian Laliberte was named new CEO of Elevate Gourmet Brands following its Founders, Jason and Jon Araghi, stepping down. For more than a decade Brian has directed Elevate Gourmet Brands’ growth and diversification within the airport industry, and was instrumental in navigating EGB through the unprecedented challenges brought on by the Pandemic of 2020. Now as US air travel climbs, Laliberte is ready to lead EGB upward as well.
“We’ve developed an aggressive roadmap for growth that we’re very excited to begin implementing. We have two new brands launching in the next 12 months, as well as four build-outs in two airports to complete by the end of the year. Our entire US team is ready to serve airport employees, flight crews and travelers at pre-pandemic volume,” said Brian Laliberte. “We’re committed to continue elevating our customers’ airport dining experience at all our established and emerging brands!”
Brian Laliberte is an accomplished executive, and has managed at a “C” level role in the multi-channel retailing environment for 20+ years. He’s working in a variety of industries including apparel, home décor, outdoor living, food and beverage, and healthcare services. Brian has a passion for teaching, mentoring and bringing out the best in all who work for him.
Aside from his leadership qualities, he possesses a broad range of experience across many business disciplines; he has an outstanding work ethic and an exceptional ability to develop innovative and creative solutions for resolution of complex problems. Brian’s leadership skills, business acumen, problem-solving ability and talent for building strong team-orientated workgroups that operate on a cooperative and success-oriented basis make him a prized asset to the company.
As COO of Elevate Gourmet Brands, Brian has focused on translating the operational excellence, customer satisfaction, sales performance and growth rate that Green Beans Coffee has achieved overseas to here in the U.S. market. Brian has developed a growth plan for store and online operations, built sales tools to manage and measure success, and developed budgets to support the growth of the company on a multi-year basis. Brian is a highly accomplished senior executive, having held positions at Illuminations, Disney Direct Marketing, Smith & Hawken, Fitwize4Kids, SmartMove Auto and others. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of San Diego and a Master’s Degree in Software Engineering from National University in San Diego, California.
