SAN JOSE, CA – With its first location at SFO currently in the build-out phase, Elevate Gourmet Brands’ American comfort food concept Mac + Cheese Kitchen’s buzz continues to grow with a second lease awarded at SJC to open in 2020.

Elevate Gourmet Brands longtime ACDBE partner Ebon Glenn is not surprised by the success of the Mac + Cheese brand, “The industry is responding to this brand in a way we haven’t seen before,” he said, “But Mac + Cheese Kitchen is really the first gourmet mac and cheese concept in the airport space. Diners are always on the lookout for something new and airports have become the place to showcase new concepts.”

Boasting a bar dedicated to local beer and wine selections, menu highlights include The BBQ Pulled Pork Mac with a sous vide cheddar cheese blend, slow-roasted pulled pork and our Green Beans Cold Brew BBQ Sauce. Mac and cheese dishes can be customized with a broad selection of toppings, and signature sides will be available, as will healthy, gluten-free and non-GMO options, and rustic salads.

San Francisco Mac + Cheese Kitchen will feature a fun Li’l Mac Kids’ Menu to include Mac + Cheese Tots and of course kids’ sized mac and cheese dishes, including the Frank’n’ Mac and Li’l Mac.

Elevate Gourmet Brands’ concepts are famous for their pastry displays and this location will be no different, featuring a full selection of sweet and savory pastries. A unique breakfast menu will offer customizable Scrambles and a selection of Breakfast Brioches.

A full product roll-out at all overseas military locations will follow this summer. SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Elevate Gourmet Brands’ third wave coffee concept Green Beans Coffee has unveiled its first new company store since 2018’s rebrand. The SFO International G location establishes a bold new look and feel for Green Beans Coffee, now in its third decade of operation.

Designed in collaboration with Silhouette Architecture Design in Chicago, this location brings the highest quality materials, daring curved lines, rebranded logomarks and signage and a portal sign containing actual green coffee beans as a nod to the long history of the brand. This is the second SFO location for Green Beans Coffee at SFO, having operated a successful Terminal 1 pre-security location since 2015.

“Being a local small business, we’re very proud of our relationship with SFO and we’re delighted to unveil our new brand look and feel here first,” said Creative Director Greg Rabbitt.

Green Beans Coffee is also in the build-out phase with a kiosk location in SFO’s Terminal 3, scheduled to open later this year.

KANSAS CITY, MO – Veterans Community Perk is a new partnership program between Elevate Gourmet Brands’® Green Beans Coffee®, E&K Retail, and Veterans Community Project (VCP), a Kansas City-based nonprofit working to eliminate Veteran homelessness through transitional housing solutions and social services.

Focusing first on the Greater-Kansas City area, VCP aspires to use Kansas City as the blueprint for achieving similar successes in cities across the United States. VCP has a long-term goal of eliminating Veteran homelessness nationwide.

“Elevate Gourmet Brands ACDBE partner Elliott Threatt brought the Veterans Community Project to our attention, and we were all inspired by their commitment to serve those who have served our country,” said George Kennedy, Director of Non-Traditional Development at Elevate Brands. “A good cup of coffee provides a little boost to the incredible work being done by CNN hero Chris Stout and the whole team and Veterans Community Project.”

SAN RAFAEL, CA – Green Beans Coffee and chef Robert Irvine have just opened two co-branded locations at the Pentagon: inside Fresh Kitchen by Robert Irvine (www.rifreshkitchen.com) on the concourse level and a kiosk on the 5th floor. They are also partnering on several forthcoming fast-casual concepts and a line of food and beverage retail products. The two brands will also work together on the DoD’s sweeping system-wide overhaul of service member dining and PX facilities, the first such initiative of its kind for America’s troops in decades.

Green Beans Coffee, an iconic brand in the military community for over 20 years, and chef Robert Irvine, recipient of several awards for his own work with America’s Troops, partnered at last year’s SkyBall XVI fundraiser in October. “This relationship grew from a mutual passion for supporting our Troops,” chef Irvine said, “The missions of the Robert Irvine Foundation and Green Beans Coffee overlap so much, it really got us thinking.”

Jason Araghi, CEO of Green Beans Coffee continued, “We’re developing several co-branded civilian and military dining concepts we plan to open this year, and a retail line of K-Cup®-compatible Coffee Pods as well. SAN FRANCISCO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, CA – This spring SFO Travelers, airline crews and staff will be treated to a truly unique dining experience at Terminal 3: the debut location of Elevate Gourmet Brands’ newest concession QSR: San Francisco Mac + Cheese Kitchen.

This will be the first gourmet fast-casual mac and cheese concept in a major West Coast airport and will offer a menu for all day parts, catering to passengers in a hurry, families and those who want to sit and enjoy the view through the leases’ wall-to-wall windows. Additionally, this location offers a bar showcasing local Bay Area beer and wine.

 

Menu highlights include The Signature Crab Mac with artisan noodles, white cheese blend topped with local Dungeness crab and microgreens, and The Gilroy Garlic Mac topped with Pecorino Romano and Gilroy’s famous roasted garlic. Mac and cheese dishes can be customized with a broad selection of toppings, and sides like Signature Cord Bread, and Spicy Broiled Vegetables will be available, as will healthy, gluten-free and non-GMO options, and rustic salads.

EGB and Aimhigh have been partners for over 3 years, running the successful Green Beans Coffee in Terminal 1.

SAN RAFAEL, CA – Elevate Gourmet Brands has named Rebecca Willis as its Executive Chef. Working from their Bay Area headquarters, Rebecca will oversee menu development for Elevate Gourmet Brands’ growing family of concession concepts, including the first two Whisk & Bowl locations due to open at DFW in the spring.

Rebecca brings a love for cooking, menu creation and Pâtisserie, and a lifetime of experience to the Elevate Gourmet Brands team. Raised on Maryland’s eastern shore, Rebecca Willis studied philosophy at Roanoke College in Virginia and then made her way to Le Cordon Bleu in London to study the art of patisserie. After working as a pastry chef at Gramercy Tavern in NYC and Restaurant Eve in Alexandria, VA, she moved across the country to the Bay Area. Since relocating she has worked at Michelin-rated La Toque and Morimoto, both in Napa, and has worked as a private chef.

“Rebecca will be developing exciting new menu offerings for Green Beans Coffee customers, including some delicious fresh-baked additions,” said President Jon Araghi. “When we open the first two Whisk & Bowl concepts at DFW Airport this spring she’ll also be building out the pastry menu and working with Chef George on expanding his original menu there.”

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Elevate Gourmet Brands’ Green Beans Coffee continues its more than 20 year commitment to America’s fighting men and women this year, becoming the Official Coffee of the 2018 Warrior Games held this week at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO.

Organized by the Department of Defense, the Warrior Games is a multi-sport event for wounded, injured or ill service personnel and veterans. In addition to all branches of the US Military, Australia, the United Kingdom and Canada are also represented. Green Beans Coffee is partnering with Fischer House in the Hospitality Tent and will have a pop-up café providing free coffee, cold brew, smoothies and frappés and pastries to athletes and their families throughout the games.

“We’re proud to support the Troops when they’re downrange on their deployments and we’re proud to support them here at the games,” said CEO and Co-Founder of Green Beans Coffee, Jason Araghi.

Those interested in sending cups of coffee to deployed Service Members can do so through Green Beans Coffee’s Cup of Joe For a Joe program, now in its 10th year.
